Faux Tagua Totem Pendants 2

Description

I saw some pendants a while back made with Tagua Nut- a natural ivory substitute.
This substance looks and feels like real ivory, and is even used in many professional recreations of ivory artifacts in museums.

I decided to go a step farther and instead of using real Tagua, I used recycled polymer clay from some rejected or forgotten projects of some friends.
----------

I'm very inspired by Native American art and heritage, it feels good to explore my roots!
These totem pendants are made of polymer clay, ink, and coffee. I put a few coats of gloss varnish on them to keep them shiny and protected.

These particular pendants represent a deer and a raven.
--------

These are completely one of a kind pendants, as they are formed, sanded, and inked all by hand.
